The diploma thesis is devoted to inductive tasks in the teaching of biology education at the lower secondary school (ISCED 2) with a focus on internal geological processes. In the theoretical part, the inclusion of the teaching of geology in the framework of the curricular documents of the Czech Republic is elaborated, and it also contains a summary of the forms and methods of teaching often used in the teaching of natural history, including didactic principles.
